Exact bit depth:

Code 001-999 (007/06-08 - electronic resource).  The image bit depth should be recorded if a single numeric value applies to all files, e.g., all files were scanned in 24-bit color.  The numeric value of the image bit depth, using three digits, is right justified with leading zeros (e.g., 001, 024).
